AKARA RECIPES AND HOW IT IS PREPARED

Ingredients:
- 2 cups bean paste (made from mashed beans) ๐ฝ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ๐ธ
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder ⚗️
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar ๐ฎ
- 1/2 cup water ๐ง
- Vegetable oil for frying ๐ง
Instructions:
1️⃣ In a bowl, mix together the bean paste, salt, baking powder, and sugar. ๐ฒ
2️⃣ Gradually add the water and mix until you get a thick, smooth paste. ๐ฟ
3️⃣ Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. ๐ฅ
4️⃣ Using a spoon, drop small amounts of the bean paste into the hot oil. ๐ฅ
5️⃣ Fry the Akara until they're golden brown and crispy. ๐
6️⃣ Remove the Akara from the oil and drain on paper towels. ๐งน
7️⃣ Serve the Akara hot with a side of pap (akamu), garri, or bread. ๐๐
