AKARA RECIPES AND HOW IT IS PREPARED

Akara is a popular Nigerian breakfast food! 🍳👌🇳🇬

Sharing a recipe on how to make Akara would be a great idea! 🤔 Here's a simple recipe you can use:

Ingredients:

- 2 cups bean paste (made from mashed beans) 🌽
- 1/2 teaspoon salt 💸
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder ⚗️
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar 🍮
- 1/2 cup water 💧
- Vegetable oil for frying 💧

Instructions:

1️⃣ In a bowl, mix together the bean paste, salt, baking powder, and sugar. 🍲

2️⃣ Gradually add the water and mix until you get a thick, smooth paste. 🌿

3️⃣ Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. 🔥

4️⃣ Using a spoon, drop small amounts of the bean paste into the hot oil. 🥄

5️⃣ Fry the Akara until they're golden brown and crispy. 🍟

6️⃣ Remove the Akara from the oil and drain on paper towels. 🧹

7️⃣ Serve the Akara hot with a side of pap (akamu), garri, or bread. 🍞👌
